Good afternoon, evening, morning or yesterday Ladies and persons of a gentle nature!

Welcome to the "official" (in italic for dramatic effect) Flytrap-Factory Patreon Communitae where 'WE' will together explore the different worlds of Flytrap-Factory as well as the realm of 3D-Print through our shiney little side project Flytrap-Digital.

Who are we?
For the last twelve years Kim has bossed Anton... and Anton has run Flytrap Factory out of Whangarei, New Zealand. Kims 'tiny design house with a massive heart' has been a passion-project, and we have run it with a stoic emphasis on traditionally designed products, resisting change and the adoption of new digital sculpting media and 3D print technology.

Times though have not always been easy and change is the only real inevitability in life (aside Death and Taxes).

Given the 'evolving' state of global supply, freight/shipping, customs tarrifs, taxes, courier charges, hidden costs, etc, etc we have struggled to evolve a system of mutually sustainable business. Since we began the new term 'instant gratification' was also coined and it is one that provides a slew of new challenges in our brave new world.

Why are we?
Why? I dont really know. I've been asking mum that question for nearly 45 years now. She says it has something to do with my Dad.
Kim says "We are because we have a passion for making toys, miniatures and assorted other cool stuffs!" and you know what. I'm good with that.

Bringing odd, cool and different new goodies to our community has always been and will always continue to be our sole focus. We love making stuff but without you we have no need to do it. Our kids have grown up now and tbh my daughters just think me and my toys are wierd.

In all honesty what we do is done purely for the love of it... there are many other much easier ways to make a living in 2022 but I cannot even begin to think of doing anything else with my life now (likely because I'm unemployable).

We have met such a cool and diverse group of people on our journey over the years, from the deep South Pacific through the United States and into Europe and the UK. It has been such a wild ride and one we dont want to get off anytime soon.

However... it has become growingly obvious that the only real way forward aside from owning our own fleet of freighters and dubious backhanders to customs and courier handlers is to bypass the system entirely... and legally... hopefully.

99% of our community is in the United Kingom, Europe or the United States sooooo...

How do we beat the system?
With Flytrap Digital now green-lit we are all go and the first port-of-call is to remaster ALL of our current flagship offerings Warpod, Netherworlds Edge and Caveman Vs Wild and provide them directly to our people as downloadable .stl files.

Just us and you, our files, directly to your inbox, immediately, efficienty and ready for you to simply pour the resin and push print...it's that easy. "instant-gratification"

Time permitting our rulebooks will be revamped and released also to our community as pdfs to support miniature releases and enabling our people to effectively print and play all of our lines.

How to join the Flytrap Community?
We offer multiple tiers, the first thing to remember before selecting a tier is that this is meant to help, it is not meant to hurt so please select a tier wisely, we are here for the long haul and hope that you will be along with us.

Remember that we are not going anywhere and we plan on being here for a long time so if now is not a comfortable time for you to join us, leave it and come back when it is. You can always come join us on the Discord or on Facebook until such time.

What's in it for us... I mean you?
Every month we will release a batch of approximately 10+ new products. Each of our ranges will recieve love, along with frequent 'other' new products category... just for the fun of it. We will keep you updated in advance both here and on our 'Facebook-Page'.
