Hi Y'all, I know I've been a bit quiet lately, but trust me, I haven't forgotten about you—just like the flu never forgets me🤒! I'm back in action and excited to share a sneak peek of what’s coming up.

He’s sharing fantastic tips and tricks to level up your painting skills, with a focus on Warhammer 40k and Middle Earth miniatures. In designing the Terrain above, I opted for a minimalist approach. This decision allows you greater freedom when creating bases. Here’s why:

• Too many features can restrict the options. If small elements are included like grass, skulls, bones etc.. just to list some of what is present on the Voodoo Swamp Bases, they must be either fully integrated or completely avoided. Partial elements can lead to an awkward final look and thus limiting the aereas from what you can cut bases from.
• I think is better to use models like the ones from Voodoo Swamp Pt.1 or other pieces to decorate your bases as you wish. This way, you can achieve a more cohesive and visually appealing result. Helpful Tip: If you duplicate the terrain and position it next to one of the sides of the original terrain, this allows you to cut bases more effectively. By utilizing the part close to the edges, you can avoid ending up with half or nearly complete circles or squares for your custom bases. Let me know your thoughts on this design choice and any suggestions you might have

After summing up the votes from both Patreon and Tribe, Asian Temple and Primal Rage ended up with the same number of votes. So, the current release design for June is Asian Temple, and the design for July '24 will be Primal Rage.

Howdy Folks!🤠 After tallying the votes from both MyMiniFactory and Patreon, I'm excited to announce that the theme for the May '24 Release has been chosen: Science Lab🧫.

The pre-supported ones will be added to the same bundle later, and I'll shoot you a notification once they're available. Now, let's talk about the Egyptian Archway and Pillar set. It's comprised of over 15 STLs, allowing you to create the entrance and variously shaped portions of the archways, as well as use each file as a standalone piece to decorate your gaming table

Here's a rundown of all the STLs included:

Everything is modular, giving you the flexibility to use magnets or printed connectors to join the parts together!

With this latest post, I'm excited to give you a sneak-peek and shed light on the design choices of the new set of miniature bases - The Hive Vol.2: The Genesis Prelude -, aiming to capture the initial phases of a planet hanging on the edge of a Xenomorph metamorphosis. The planet's surface already bears the unmistakable marks of this unstoppable xenomorphic process, where macro, yet still microscopic, Xenomorph cellular organelles are driving the first steps of the planetary metamorphosis. Xenocondria, xenolysosomes, and nuclei, guarded by deadly xenomorph spires, stand as the crucial and rare elements playing a pivotal role in this awe-inspiring process unfolding across the planet's surface. As indigenous inhabitants valiantly attempt to resist, they leave behind haunting remnants - skulls and ammunition strewn across the ground. The battle to thwart the invasion and halt the transformation reverberates in the chilling symbols of resistance.

But that's not the end of the story! The xeno cellular organelle models will also be available as standalone basing bits, allowing you to infuse the Xenomorphic narrative into your unique projects!

This collection features modular tube-shaped files, enabling you to replicate the peripheral nervous system of a Xenomorph species!

'Xenomorph Synapsis' includes six differently shaped files, allowing you to create various intricate designs by joining them with either magnets or connectors.

Additionally, due to some delays with the person who usually adds supports to my STL files, I've decided to share the unsupported Xenomorph Synapsis and Eggs while we wait for the pre-supported STLs. Once the pre-supported files are available, they will be uploaded in the same bundles, making them easy for you to find. I'll notify you through either a Tribe post or comment.

Apologies for the unexpected quiet spell—this round of Covid/Flu really knocked me for a loop. 🤒

On a brighter note, time to share the Gloomshroom Grotto's debut STLs with you:

• 26x Mushrooms Set 🍄: Redeemable
• 5x Snailshrooms with Shells 🐌: Redeemable Mushrooms come with flat bottoms for straightforward placement on your projects, except for the Flatshrooms, which are tailored for vertical integration

Snailshrooms offer a charming glimpse into the mutualistic life of the grotto, complete with protective mushrooms that turn snails into "no-go" zones for predators. The mushrooms' toxins leave the snails slightly loopy, but this also means spores get spread far and wide as the snails slow-roll across the grotto. Even hidden within their shells, the snails aid this natural dispersal. And when a Snailshroom's journey ends, it fosters a lush mushroom bloom. 🌼

So..This inaugural set showcase seven distinct base sizes, as can be seen in the image below 👇 The sizes I've selected might seem unconventional to those familiar with WH Fantasy and other games that utilize square bases. However, these decisions were made after some researches on the base sizes that could be incorporated into the upcoming Old World Edition.

Hi all! I hope everything is fine🙂 Sorry for the radio silence lately, however I had to undergo to an unscheduled small surgery to the left arm that has slowed me down a bit this month. Anyway, I've managed to keep with the current release, Norse Raid. I've been working on some models in between rest periods and I'm excited to share what I've been able to create these weeks.

1) Crows: 3x STL files. I made them think as the animal that can be linked to the aftermaths of a raid and thus the crows. Plus, they are into the Norse culture too as Huginn e Muninn, the Wotan’s eyes

2) Ruined Town Banners: 4x STL files. With and without crows. Models are split into the banner itself and the base (Don’t forget to mirror the base for the most ruined banners, the ones on the left side in the picture below) 3) Shield & Weapons: Depicting the remnants of the raid 4) Wall and others: at the moment 5x STL files however I plan to conclude tomorrow some barricades. Everyday-life objects left on the battlefield representing the sign of the quick escape of the townsfolks.

What next?

1. Share the above listed STL files
2. Create the August’23 design poll (Starts on 21st of July)
3. Share the new set of bases (A WIP of the new set of the upcoming bases is going to be show together with design poll)

Hi everyone!!! I hope your weekend has been good so far😊 I'd like to share with you the renders of three models I made for the current release, Field of Mars! These Tech-Skulls are going to be shared with Lt.Commander & Merchant tribers along with other small deco bits before the monthly base set. About the Skulls we have: 1) Translator-Skull: made by two different skulls fuse together to help understand and translate any message in any languages. I thought at this design for the Translator skull since I was thinking while modelling it that a good listener can’t be a good speaker and vice-versa. 2) Support Skull: equipped with heavy weapons and the latest aiming systems, this kind of skull is the perfect support mate during battles! 3) Slaytan Skull: The death bringer model. Equipped with a robotic arm and a rack on its back holding 3x vials containing deadly solutions to project them together or one at time on doomed enemies. All come with a customisable greeting message

Names are not definitive, so if you have any suggestions for the skull names feel free to share them in the comment section👇

🔸 About bases, the printed models size 25,28.5,32,40,50 & 60mm round and are printed on photon mono 4k with m58 resin from resione 👉 check them in the picture attached below!!!!

🔸 The design of the upcoming release is Shipwreck and as usual bases, props and terrain STL files will be included👌 In addition, as throwback release some models included in the Ancient Invader Ruins bundle (12 Bases & props) That's all for now!

Hi all!!! I'm glad to communicate that both the new set of themed bases and the ruined statue are now redeemable!!! The new bases include 25 models with 8 different sizes (25,32,40,50,60,80,105x70 &120x92mm) and they are available as: solid, toppers & resin-saving with a full cut on the underside + 3 & 5mm magnet holes (depths: 2mm), the latest also pre-supported! • 4x different Giant Cranium Rats (WIP) enhanced rats, transformed by psionic creatures, they are used as spies by their creator to gather informations from enemies interspersing them among normal rats!

• Summon hole (WIP) A mysterious structure, located in the darkest and unexplored level of the sewers

• Sewer Stand (Under Review by MMF) A decorated stand to glue on and display your favourite miniatures. The model is split into 5 different part for a better printability

About the tier change, I have thought so far to make this variation:

I'd like to show you two different undead miniature models that will be included in the current release Crystal Cave 💎

Cursed Crystal Awaken Undead 💀

The idea behind the showed models come from both the background story I made for this current release and some feedback received by you! Here below a small resume of the background story 'A magic cave that appears once every 10.000 years in a random,remote and lost location. Stories tells that the belly of the cave is filled by crystal and gems and them have drawn the attentions of many adventurers during the different eras. However, who dies there trying to get the cave treasures will be awaken and cursed by the power of the cave crystals👻'

You can find the renders of the models attached below (one 'professional' the other where I tried to give a wicked look)

I plan to create a third miniature to complete this set of undead 😁

The base sizes included in the current release will be:

Available for Commander/Merchant/Sergeant tiers, the whole set of 25 decorated bases includes 10 different sizes as: solid, resin saving with magnet holes (pre-supported) & toppers! A smaller version is included in the Cadet Tier too!

2) Greater Demon

The model heights 80mm circa and fits both 50mm and 60mm miniature bases To make it easier to print, the model is split into seven different part: head, body, legs, left arm, right_arm_weapon, 2x schyte magic effects

3) Terrain and Props STLs

This bundle can be split into two main part:

• The modular Archway
• Standalone STLs The modular Archway files includes:
• 2x columns
• 4x Archway parts

Colums have pin to join them with the part above. Instead the archway parts have holes to connect with 5mm magnets or the provided 'Connector.stl'--> to let you create the most preferred 'Archway Configuration' for your game/adventure

The 'Standalone STLs' include:

The no-bases STLs for the August '22 release, Corrupted Temple, are officially done!!!

Let's see what is new!!!

1) Along with all the files already shared with supporters three days ago, has been added a new standalone STL to the previous bundle:

• The Demonic Fangs, the manifestation of demonic predators summoned from the darkest plane 👿

👉 All the files are avaialable pre-supported too!!!

2) The Greater Demon took a lot more time than expected but now also him is done!!! The model heights 90mm circa and fits both 50mm and 60mm miniature bases To make it easier to print, the model is split into seven different part: head, body, legs, left arm, right_arm_weapon, 2x schyte magic effects

👉 The Greater Demon STLs will be included in the Commander/Merchant tier only!!!

🔸 The models as usual are under review, however I have already wrote to the MMF staff to speed the process up to share these files as soon as possible.*

Hi everyone!!! How have you been? 😁

In this new update post, I'd like to share with you the first models that will be part of the current release Abandoned Power Plant🏭

So let's start discover them together!!!🧙‍♂️

• The main part of the structure, the Energy Generator Unit with the with the Energy Collector Arms capturing and keeping under control the energy released from the Nucleus
• The Power Plant Tube: 3x straight sections, a curved one, connectors & a terminal section to allocate and recharge the batteries In addition:
• A Super Capacitor to store the energy dragged by the Arms from the Nucleus
• Fixers, tiny capsule-shaped bots programmed to fix and repair any issue in the Power Plant until they software works properly
• A Battery & Vents Most of the models are split in two or more parts and they have when needed holes for magnets too Right now the models are available unsupported only, however the ready-to-print version will be soon available too!!!

The conditions of the building are still perfect however seems that the plant has been  abandoned for years.'

🕋 Ancient Invaders Ruin 👽 Did "ancient astronauts" or visitor from lost dimensions with higher technological knowledge have ever visited Earth and influenced early human culture? Might there was a time when those entities were worshiped as good by humans? In a cave, a remote and unexplored tunnel leads to a lost buried building. Hi everyone !!!😁 Here the four different options for the new release design 🧙‍♂️ Possible new design:

• 1) Ancient Invader Ruins 👽🕋 In a cave, a remote and unexplored tunnel leads to a lost buried building. Unknown hieroglyphs and what seems the rest of this ancient but advanced civilization decorate the different areas of the structure. Seems no one has never visited this place
• 2) Sewer tour base set 😨☢ Dark alleyways, brick wall with tube, pipes and grates from which flows a bad smelly liquid. The perfect place to hide an illegal activity and might something even more dangerous!!!
• 3) OrkGrimmar base set 🪓 🏯💀 A military city, the homeplace of Orcs. Bones and metal spikes as well metal plates are the favourite OrkGrimmar architects decorations for walls and wood structures. Definitely, an Orc scaled city!
• 4) 🐚Deep Water 🦐:   Sea floor environment😁. Nature elements, sunken objects and ruins to fit both realistic & fantasy needs!

How have you been? 😁

In this new update post, I'd like to share with you the first models that will be part of the current release, 🧙‍♂️ Lost Mage Tower 🏰

So let's start discover them together!!!

🔸 The object can be splitted mostly into either readable or magical items

🔸 First group includes books & scroll. Among the books there are also magic tomes (three above).

From left to right: Tome of life magic (or Herbalism one), one of t_he personal magic tome of the lost wizard_ and the book of sacrifice stolen by himself from the 👻 Necropolis Area 💀

🔸 Then here the magical items: a Palantír, the Wizard staff  and a magical mechanical item linked to both the flow of the time and _ the wizard disappearance_ (it is still to finish and I'd like to integrate it within a bigger terrain models 😁

I hope you gonna appreciate these 3d-printable models as all the previous ones!!!

👉 More terrain props models will be added during the creation of the miniature base set

I hope everything is fine 😁

I'd like to show you the 40 & 50 mm base set from the current release to talk a bit about the new base set!!!

Generally, I will split the models into 3 different groups

1) The first group will represent the more decorated part of the ruins, the city center near to noble palaces & temples with decorated floors eroded by the flow of the time

2) The second will include those models representing the area surrounding the models from the 1st group: streets, the entrance of the ruins area etc...

3) Model with elevated platforms which mix the 1st & 2nd base group

Then with the terrain props the bases can be personalized to fit the stance of your mini or to your favorite element composition!!!

I hope you like them as the rest of the new release!!!

🔸Two decorated skulls, one with a conquistadores helmet and the other with an Aztec one !!!

The idea came from the request to add some 'feathers' in the current release.. so after I thought a while.. I decided to create these two different skulls to give also a sort of historical touch to the new release 😅

🔸 Aztec weapons (Macuahuitl) --> plan to add a ritual knife and eventually a battle axe

🔸Small Reptiles--> a frog & a snake to color the new models with their highly saturated colors

Probably my exposure settings need a fix (sorry all😅**)** so to print the pre-supported models I added some extra medium supports below on the edges where there were too many empty spot as well in spread in the middle of the model too (lower part) --> 15 minutes to prepare 4 models 😉

🔸So if you'd like to print some, please check be sure your setting are fine or add some more support just to be sure to improve the chance of a good print.

More news on Monday from the printing service!!!

BTW, since I'd like to paint them tomorrow but I still have few ideas how... I'd like to know which would be your favourite color scheme and which paints you'd pick up to paint these four bases 😁

Hi all!!!

The new release is now available pre-supported 🤯**!!!**

The files were uploaded some minutes ago so probably they'll take a bit to be downloadable 😁

In case that will take too much time, I will sollecitate the MMF staff

Plus, I have found out a structural issue within the NP32mmC-h.stl file. The original files was removed and replaced with a fixed one 😁

Don't forget to vote to determine the January release design between:

🔸Despite this tutorial is based on just one model, I think it can give you an idea on how paint most of the different elements present on the Wild Forest bases as well the workflow & paints used can be transposed on others models.

👉That is also an experiment so feel free to provide feedback about stuff to improve & if you'd like something similar also for the other release!!!

However, I have kept up with the creation of the new miniature bases & the whole 💀 Necropolis set👻 will be available on the 17th of December

"Did "ancient astronauts" or visitor from lost dimensions with higher technological knowledge have ever visited Earth and influenced early human culture? Might there was a time when those entities were worshiped as good by humans?"

In a cave, a remote and unexplored tunnel leads to a lost buried building.

Unknown hieroglyphs and what seems the rest of this ancient but advanced civilization decorate the different areas of the structure.

Seems no one has never visited this place.

What actually is this place?! A tomb or a connecting place between their and this world? Are the original inhabitants still there?!

• Fortress of the Sacred Dawn ☀🏛⚔

A granite Fortress administered by the order of the Sacred Dawn.

Built close to a mountain range is actually partially hidden in the belly of the mountain.

A place of cultural exchange ruled by courtesy and kindness, where adventurers can stop and rest during their journeys.

Near to the Fortress, a river flows from the mountain range feeding the fertile lands nearby.

• Dark Ritual Mesa 😈

An isolated rocky place, where the rest of human bones & skulls are surrounded by demoniac runes & symbols carved into the rocks and ground.

Probably the rest of obscure ritual practices.

The reason behind that is unknown... "Are their souls lost and damned?!"

• Necropolis 💀👻
