Ehrlya dragon available and a surprise from Baastherox!
Hello Dragonbonded! Sorry for the wait here, but the Ehrlya dragon is ready now for you to print, just in time for the holidays! Sculpted by the talented Daniel Ehrli. Pragmatic and driven, Ehrlya dragons view the act of creation as their primary focus. These dragons, scaled in bronze or copper, don’t hoard or covet; they are crafters devoted to creating weapons, armor, and devices of the utmost quality. For many of these dragons, the perfect medium for their craft is themselves, and they use their skills to modify their own bodies to provide new features or to enhance their already potent physical abilities. Though among the most resilient of the broods, the Ehrlya often ensconce themselves in their volcanic lairs, obsessing over their creations and zealously protecting them from any who would dare to steal them.
Holidays are here and we can't thank you enough for joining us in another year and your ongoing trust and support! As part of our traditons, here's the bust of Baastherox! We offered this time two versions, one with reindeer horns and one without, hope you enjoy it!
Download it here!
Happy Holidays!
ExpandDecember is here with a small delay!
Hello Dragonbonded!
We are on December now and the models are almost here! The warmother orc on foot is available now along with the Vaala witch, and we ran into a small delay with the Ehryla dragon, but rest assured it will arrived within the next days =D The Vaala Witch was sculpted by Roberto Chaudon and designed by Tom Babbey.
The Ehrlya dragon is being sculpted by our creative director, Daniel Ehrli, but he ran into a small delay; the pose will be as shown on this image, but without being swamped on a lava floor.
Finally, the warmother orc on foot is to continue your adventures with the orc queen that was riding one of the dinosaurs from Scourge Triumvirate!
In the meantime, sorry for the late update here, my baby dragon was born a bit before time and we needed to move things around hehe fortunately everyone is well. Will post an update with more lore next week, or as soon as the new models arrive! Happy holidays!
ExpandNovember models!
Hello Dragonbonded! As mentioned in our previous post, it is time of the Gellanor lands to appear in our Tribes. Always a minority under the sjóda and orlar, humans have still tried to survive in the Frozen Wastes for centuries. Though the nomadic yummar clans were the first to settle in the region, the human population flourished at the arrival of the Raven Knights of Mord. The Raven Knights, led by the General Sergyan, arrived in the Frozen Wastes from Ysval, seeking asylum from the Galadyan Temple and the Blood Geas. Unlike the yummar, the Raven Knights and their descendants built structures, laying down roots in defiance of the cold. These black towers now dot the landscape, occasionally falling into disrepair when they have to be abandoned to escape the worst of the winter, only to be repaired come spring. The orlar, the rarest of Valernian orcs, or snow orcs, are nomadic tribes from the harsh environs of the Frozen Wastes, with most belonging to the Gellanor League. They have a culture centere on both physical and emotional strength, praising both stoicism and passion and treating both bravery and pain as marks of virtue. They live in tight-knit warbands, traveling across the Northerlands to avoid the worst of the weather. Each warband is led by an orlar witch, known as a coven mother, who is chosen by her people as the wisest and most powerful of the band’s witches. The coven mother guides her people and leads the ceremonies that create the orlar’s sacred oljuu. The gellan raven mount was sculpted by our Creative Director, Daniel Ehrli.
Take a look to all together!
The Raven was sculpted as a collaboration with Daniel for his own 3D printable Kickstarter campaign "Castle of the vampire lord" - A gigantic mega-dungeon designed for 3d printing with a one-inch grid interior to play at the table for any roleplaying game. Take a look here! This Castle is gigantic; measuring over 7 feet in total height (not counting the two catacomb levels which are separated from the main castle) this object is meant to wow even experienced players and bring a completely new level to play. Thanks for Dragonbonding with us! Spoiler alert, the December models will include a Vaala witch, concept by Tom Babbey.
ExpandNovember is getting closer and Gellanor is getting colder!
Hello Dragonbonded!
This month we are excited to share a bit more about the gelids lands of Gellanor!
A small but powerful military coalition confined to the ice wastes of the polar seas, the Gellanor League, also called the Frost Horde, is less a realm than a wandering horde, intent on conquering all before them. Determined to fight their way from their frozen confinement, they eye the beacon fires of Ysval greedily and covet still more the wealth and power of Tyveria.
The Frost Horde arose when the Ysvalian Raven Knights refused to worship the Light of the Galadyan Temple and, as punishment, were exiled to the Northern Wastes. There, the knights’ grudges festered until, at last, they drew other tribes from the frozen lands to their cause with promises of plunder and victory. Now, with the help of snow orcs, the orcs’ mighty broodmothers known as the Winter Witches, and a stout army of mammoth-riding frost dwarves, the Raven Knights are poised to wreak vengeance on everything south of their border.
This month will include the Gellan Raven knight + x3 Orlar warriors! And! First seen, the raven (we ran a bit behind with this mini but it is coming soon, hopefully next week).
We are excited to see these models rise into prints and see how you paint them!
Enjoy and thanks for being part of our Tribe!
September is here with a Nix Dragon!
Hello Dragonbonded tribers! Our models for september are ready for you and we can't wait to see your prints. This month, the nix dragon join the lines and, even though it was a crazy sculpt for our sculptor, Dani Ehrli, the result is mindblowing! But, what's a Nix dragon? You might recall from previous post their leader, the Azhurma Nixis (more lore about her coming in the next post), but the undead brood, the Nix are hated and feared by all other dragons. Their embrace of necromancy makes them unique among dragons and more powerful, in a sense, than all others, for they have cheated death. Nix dragons are not born but are created through a magical rite that strips away their flesh but imbues them with necromantic powers of their own. Their azhurma, Nixis, is not just the progenitor of their line but truly their creator and, as such, is shown loyalty and respect from those of her brood. ** Art by Daarken, part from Itza's Guide to Dragonbonding The commanders from Ysval and Tyveria are here too, info previously shared, brought to life by the talented Roberto Chaudon.
Dragonbond: Endless Sagas PATREON
Remember that September is the last month to get the full first season from our Patreon! Throughout this season we met in a deeper way the Cursed Coast and the City of Crimson Spires. ExpandShimmerworm and Foghorn concept art!
Hello Dragonbonded! How are your prints going? Here's some art for inspiration to paint them!
Foghorn
Despite their large, imposing appearances, some within Ysval have managed to tame foghorns for use as mounts. The small but elite Order of the Foghorn, in particular, stylizes themselves after their fierce and stubborn animal companions with the motto “Strong and head-on.” Rarely encountered outside of their native cold climates, their isolated nature has spawned many theories about their origin and its potential connection with winter witchcraft. Some claim a sect of winter witches can transform into the massive beasts and blend in with the herd, though they admittedly cannot imagine why someone would want to do such a thing.
Shimmerworm
Since shimmerworms burrow beneath the ice, snow, and hard earth, there is often little forewarning when one approaches. Tremors and a strange shifting of the snowpack are the only signs of an imminent shimmerworm attack, and those are often noticed mere moments before the creature breaks forth from the ground. Though no one knows the origins of these strange monsters, the sjóda of the Gellanor League have taken to hunting them for their meat and useful body parts, the way the Ysvalians hunt whales, and even hold competitions to see which camp can bring down the largest specimen. This serves a dual purpose: The sjóda gain plentiful food and materials, but they also cull the shimmerworm population. If it’s left unchecked, shimmerworms can grow so large they can devour entire settlements
This is just the iceberg peak of Dragonbond! You can learn more in the new Patreon = Dragonbond: Endless Sagas! Similar to tribes, each themed season will span 3 months, with each monthly release packed with goodies, including new dragon broods, lore, locations, player options, items, spells, side quests, monsters, NPCs, organizations and more!
Since you all are already onto STLs, the best tier for you is Endless Sagas + Lair (5USD approx), which includes everything from the previous tier (endless sagas - 4USD approx) + the rewards from the Dragonbond's Lair (Tribes). Our first season “Shadows and Skullduggery,” is running the second month!

ExpandSeptember is around the corner!
Hello Dragonbonded! Glad to be writing this post to show what to expect for September! But first of all, how's your August bundle going? Any prints on the Foghorn or Shimmerworm? Two commanders are joining the lines + a Nix dragon (WIP, will be shown in the next post)
Maghyr Commander
A human blessed with a particularly powerful tie to the Will aspect of Vaala can become something else entirely: a maghyr, gifted with increased physical and mental abilities as well as an extended lifespan. This gift manifests as the ability to manipulate and empower blood, minds, and emotions, making them a terrifying force both in the throne room and on the battlefield. Such great power comes with a downside, however; within each maghyr resides a vindictive spirit, known as a kadhah, with but one goal: destroy the maghyr that houses it.
Sorceress Maghyr ** The Kadhah was available previously in our tribes and is still available in our store!
Ysvalian Commander
Ysvalians are pious, simple, and neighborly people who like to gather around the hearth, eat good food, and lead a virtuous life by the teachings of the Light. Through their faith and determination, they learned to survive in harsh conditions and turn their tundra lands into fertile valleys. The Holy Alliance of Ysval was founded by pilgrims and settlers from across Valerna, so their humans look like any other. They dress in furs, leather, crude jewelry, and verdigris shell armor. The majority of the realm’s human population are descended from the cultists that first settled it. Very few Ysvalian humans develop any aspect-specific potential, but instead depend on their direct approach to Vaala through their faith in the Galadyan Temple of Light rather than the magical power of a specific aspect. Ysvalian swordlancer.

ExpandAugust is almost here!
Hello Dragonbonded! August will be here in two days and with it, new minis to print and paint! We are thinking to make a painting competition, what do you think? We also wanted to share what you should expect in your new bundle. From the cold lands of Ysval:
- x3 Ysvalian walking knights (Medium humanoids)
- x1 Shimmerworm (gargantuan mounstrosity)
- x1 Foghorn (large beast)
Ysval
More than strength, discipline, or loyalty, the Ysvalian army is built on cooperation and fellowship. As you may recall from the beginning, one of our Dragonbonded come from here, our dearest Oryan. The human warriors of Ysval are drawn primarily from the knightly orders, heavily armored paladins whose faith in the Light is unshakeable and whose oaths make it impossible to forsake the realm when battle calls. Galadyan Knights fight on foot, while their brethren of the Griffon and Reinknight orders ride into battle on ferocious griffons and heavily muscled tundra reindeer, respectively.
Foghorn
The foghorn, also called a tundra unicorn, is a great wooly pachyderm with a single horn on its enormous head. Foghorns are slow and clumsy but very strong, and they move in large herds across the frozen landscape, relying on their numbers and huge size to dissuade any would-be predators. The foghorn’s hairy hide is particularly thick and difficult to penetrate, adding an increased layer of protection.
Shimmerworm
Few beings in Valerna rival the fear and dread invoked by the appearance of dragons, but the shimmerworm is one such creature. Altered by some unknown magic, they are massive creatures that tunnel within the frozen tundra of the Northerlands and are armored with enchanted ice that sparkles like quartz crystals. Stay tune for more lore content and remember that this is just the iceberg peak of Dragonbond! You can learn more in the new Patreon = Dragonbond: Endless Sagas!
ExpandWe're back with new surprises!
Hello Dragonbonded! First of all, we are deeply sorry for the long silence we had, we went through internal changes and time passed so fast. I promise I'll try to have a weekly or biweekly post! Are you enjoying your STLs? Which realm would you like to see in the future? During July, one of my favorite models was released, the Azhid! The blood genie! + a magyhr - Radjekul Flayers (includes version without mask) and the Night Hamanimi (a Vaala spirit)! For August, content is focused in the cold lands of Ysval with x3 ysvalian knights, a Foghorn and a Shimmerworm (will post about them and their lore next week). We are also excited to announce that **Dragonbond Endless Sagas Patreon **went live on July 2nd, offering a bit more than just the STLs and providing you with more 5E content to discover Valerna and its mysteries! Same as Tribes, each themed season will span 3 months, with each monthly release packed with goodies, including new dragon broods, lore, locations, player options, items, spells, side quests, monsters, NPCs, organizations and more! It will be on Patreon where you will find the main 5E releases to expand on our 3 released books (Great Wyrms of Drakha, Itza's Guide to Dragonbonding and Elyse's Guide to Magic) so if you want more Dragonbond content, look no further! Since you all are interested on the STLs, the best tier for you is Endless Sagas + Lair (5USD approx), which includes everything from the previous tier (endless sagas - 4USD approx) + the rewards from the Dragonbond's Lair (Tribes). As mentioned, access to the monthly content is distributed in seasons (3-month themed periods) so the monthly content will vary from month to month. Throughout a season you can expect to see:
- A new Dragon Brood - Including stat-blocks for all age categories and lore.
- Organizations that give access to new playstyles and unique feats and items.
- Lore delving deeper into the Dragonbond Universe
- Items
- Spells
- Player options (new races, subclasses, backgrounds)
- NPCs and Side-Quests
- Access to polls where we will define which content gets expanded as the Patreon grows!
- Discord role: Valerna Explorer
- Digital RPG content
- (if joining the Lair tier)
- 3-5 STL 3d models
- 5e stats
- Battles of Valerna (wargame) cards
First season
The theme for our first season is “Shadows and Skullduggery,” and here’s a sneak peek at July’s contents:
- “Cursed Coast Companion: Kara Tibor” by Kienna Shaw
- “Ancestries of Valerna: Shev Halflings” by Sarah Madsen
- “Skullduggery Items” by Jeff Lee
- “Rajhan Dragons” by Ruben Bañuelos and Jeff Lee

ExpandNew Month!
Welcome tribers, We are thrilled to announce that this month's focus will immerse us in the mystique of the Nahuac Coalition, where nature, culture, and sorcery converge in an awe-inspiring tapestry of power. The fierce and diverse beast-kin regiments of Nahuac exemplify their bestial savagery. Elite ocelinn, jaguar-like and swift as the wind, charge into battle alongside iron-scaled bendavee warriors, embodying unyielding strength. Above, the mun kisuut, bat-like and vigilant, scout the land, while Buunkun sorcerers soar with grace, invoking the mighty makaab weave to unleash nature's fury upon their foes. But even these forces of nature are overshadowed by the chilling presence of the xibac sorcerers. Once-human necromancers, they wield the forbidden arts with devious cunning, sapping the strength of their enemies or raising the fallen to fight once more. Their enigmatic and underhanded tactics make them formidable adversaries on the battlefield. August models Through our 3D models this month, we endeavor to capture the awe-inspiring might and deep-rooted traditions of the Náhuinn people, showcasing the interplay between nature's wonders and the power of ancient sorcery. Models for this month: 2x Undead Ocelinn (Medium, 25mm) Ocelinn who die while transformed retain their jaguar forms. Powerful xibac can revive them in their transformed state - now blessed with un-life, they retain a measure of their speed and strength, combined with the deathless qualities granted by xibac necromancy. 5x Sahmbling Deathless (Medium, 25mm) Shambling Deathless comprise most of a Xibac lich's army - warriors raised hastily from the dead to fight once more for Nahuac. Their bodies feel no pain, and they are relentless fighters, making them incredibly adept at melee combat. If a xibac lich is nearby, the Deathless can be raised repeatedly unless their physical form is utterly destroyed, making them a horde without number. 1x Cixtla Stalker (Medium, 25mm) Cixtla Stalkers inhabit the many swamps of Nahuac, forming themselves into tribe-like groups. Such is their bestial cunning and problem-solving ingenuity, that Nahuinn explorers first thought them to be a lost tribe of the coalition. However, such fancies were soon quashed, for the Cixtla Stalkers use their pack tactics and low intellect purely for hunting. They are masters of their home environment, semi-aquatic hunters who use their mebranous wings to glide as effortlessly beneath the surface of swampwater as they do between the treetops. Highly territorial, almost anything that enters their domain is considered prey. All of these models come pre-supported, making it easier for you to dive right into printing action. And for those of you who enjoy customizing your supports, we will provide the editable files through the Lychee program, allowing you to add your own personal touch. Your unwavering support and enthusiasm inspire us to venture further into the heart of Nahuac's mysteries, exploring the very essence of this remarkable coalition. We are honored to have you by our side as we delve into this captivating world of culture, strength, and the enigmatic forces that shape the battlefield.. 5e Stats and Throwback models As we navigate this journey, we want to share that the 5e stats for this month's models will be unveiled in mid-August, adding an exciting layer of gaming depth to these captivating creations. ExpandNew month, new models
Welcome tribers, We are thrilled to announce some changes coming to the format of our adventures! As we embark on this new journey, we are transitioning from traditional RPG adventures to an epic wargame experience. Get ready for the arrival of armies you can print and conquer the battlefield with! Starting now, each season will span three action-packed months filled with detailed miniatures you can use. But that's not all! With the content released every season, you will be able to engage in thrilling battles with a friend, pitting your armies against each other. Additionally, each month will also serve as a group of mercenaries and monsters for those who supported the Kickstarter campaign in May, expanding your options for integrating new units into your base game armies. Let’s kick-start this season with creatures from the Fell.
Deep in the enchanted forests and magical regions created by the Dreambleed–where the Fai is strongest in Valerna–there are realms that are not realms and a people that is not quite a people. These are the Fell Courts, the fey realm of the faari, or dream elves. The elven archmages that caused the Dreambleed were consumed by the devastation; all that remained of these great elves was their memory, which the Fai shaped into dream-like entities—alive, but not truly, and composed of pure Dream magic.
Models for this month: 2x Fell knights (Medium, 25mm) Knellshields wield massive shields and heavy swords, and it is said that they are able to defend against whole retinues of regular fighters. And rumors abound thatthe ringing noise caused by them striking at their shields can cause those that hear it to faint, or even drive them mad… mad.. 5x Fell warhammers (Medium, 25mm) Thunderers are fell troops. Their heavy armor and long warhammer make them incredibly effective at attacking other heavily armored fighters and shield walls. Their dream-imbued hammers can distort most metals, twisting and turning them under their strikes until they become completely unusable. 1x Hamanu (Medium, 25mm) Hamanu have the ability to entrance others through music, dancing, singing, and poetry. Those enchanted by their performance often lose track of time, and in some extreme cases can forget themselves entirely. All of these models come pre-supported, making it easier for you to dive right into printing action. And for those of you who enjoy customizing your supports, we will provide the editable files through the Lychee program, allowing you to add your own personal touch. As we enter this exciting new era for our Tribe, we want to invite you to join our Discord community, where you can connect with fellow Tribes members, discuss strategies, share your painting tips, and stay up-to-date with the latest announcements. Our Discord channel is the place to be for an immersive and engaging experience, so if you want to want to be part of a friendly community full of other passionate players like yourself, then you can join here. We are incredibly excited about this transition from RPG to wargaming, and we hope you are too! Prepare to print your armies, assemble your forces, and dominate the battlefield like never before. ExpandBattles of Valerna - a 3D printable fantasy wargame - Live on Kickstarter Now!
Greetings, tribe!
Today is a very special day for us here at Draco Studios and, potentially, for you as well! As many of you may already know, one of the studio’s earliest projects was a series of models for the unique armies of Valerna, along with a prototype for the wargame. We even had a couple of kickstarter campaigns where we shared the armies of our core four nations, which then led to the amazing models we’ve been sharing with you for the past couple of years. These campaigns included RPG content for each of the models, as well as our first stabs at building a wargame. Since then, we’ve built a stronger basis for the Dragonbond universe and we’ve made some important friends along the way. We’ve found the best possible shape for our units alongside you and it’s time to put our armies to the test. Now, years in the making, Battles of Valerna is ready to shine thanks to the work of our 3D artists, your support, and the tireless work of Alessio Cavatore (Warhammer, The Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game and much more). Live now, on Kickstarter, Dragonbond: Battles of Valerna brings the armies of Dragonbond to a whole new wargame. Pledge today and take the models of your favorite armies, the rules of play and unique scenarios to run at home and determine which realm will rise over their foes. Members of our tribe will receive squads from this game every month, along with a copy of the base rulebook and fighting stats for each of their models. Click here and look at the many other rewards planned for this game, as well as the building stretch goals available to backers.
ExpandFree PDF of the New Battles of Valerna Rulebook
Hello Tribers, We’ve just added the new PDF version of the Battles of Valerna rulebook for you to download from MMF. Alessio and Jack have been hard at work over these past months to fine-tune the ruleset to make Battles of Valerna even more enjoyable than it was before. The main changes for this iteration are:
- The Upgrade Tokens have been replaced with a deck of Artifact cards. This allows players to equip their Heroes with powerful magical items to create killer combos and bluff the enemy into defeat.
- We have introduced a Neutral Units section to the rulebook. This includes Mercenaries and Monsters, bringing all the amazing models from the Tribes subscription into your games of Battles of Valerna.
- We have expanded the Vaala cards available to each magic user in the game.
- Multiple combats have been streamlined. We got rid of multiple combats with units both flanking and flanked at the same time – each unit can be either flanked or flanking, not both.
- We have merged Captains and Heroes into Heroes. Smoother Command rules that introduce new and interesting tactical choices.
- Pitched Battle is now the main game mode, as we felt it was the most fun and interesting. The other scenarios are available as alternative choices.
- We have re-balanced the points values and found that 50-point games are also great fun – tactical and fast when you don’t have an afternoon to enjoy a full game of Battles of Valerna. ++Download it for yourself and let us know what you think over on Discord.++ And if you want to hear more from Alessio and Jack on what’s new in Battles of Valerna, head over to our YouTube channel and watch the full video interview.
Ready for next Tribes release?
Hello, Tribers It is going to be May, and new rewards are coming. How have your players fared against the horrors of the Null? Surely, there must be questions about the nature of these creatures, as even the wisest seers in Valerna are unsure. One more Null horror approaches, alongside an all-new Tyverian creature and more members of the Crimson Hawk. Let’s take a look before we get into today’s news.
- Voidworm: One of the lesser, most basic forms of the null, but one that heralds its approach. They look like tendrils of null matter, sometimes with features of actual worms.
- Termezsek: The Tyverian giant termites serve the blood empire’s mines, but they are also seen in the battlefield. They are known to go on raids on the surface when their colonies grow strong.
- Crimson Hawk Leader. A group leader of Crimson Hawk thugs and ruffians. Hardened and prepared for assassination, though it may not be its core task.
- Captain Chamra. This month’s throwback model is the ruthless leader of bloodclaw troops in the Tyverian Battlefield. To face Chamra is to subject oneself to the violence of the gladiatorial arena. Chamra is an excellent segway to today’s big news. As we mentioned in an earlier post, season seven, Fractures, will last one additional month, and it will end in June. Come July, this Tribe will work a bid differently. For the past few years, we’ve been working on Dragonbond: Battles of Valerna, a wargame designed by Alessio Cavatore and Jack Caesar. Battles has been around for a bit, first as a kickstarter campaign showcasing amazing models that have returned every month to your collections. Now, the full game, rules and units, is coming soon to kickstarter. Therefore, starting July 2023, this Tribe will stray away from its role playing roots momentarily to bring an array of squads, armies and foes for you to print and recruit to your growing armies.
Sculpt in detail: Outrider on scytherunner
The best part of our orcs and saurids is that they often come together. Today, we take a look at outriders
Outriders are amber orcs who train specifically to ride scyherunner saurids, the raptors of the field. They are quick and balanced cavalry, often taking on pack techniques and their saurid's leaping attacks to get an advantage on the field. It's safe to assume that they are better prepared for riding in battle, but after so many years of saurids being a crucial part of Triumvirate life, other orcs are not so far behind.
Which pose was your favorite? Show us your prints and colors!
ExpandShadows of Jet Mountain
Hello, Tribers Spring is here, and with April come new rewards for you! The Crimson Hawk Syndicate is present everywhere in the City of Crimson Spires, even if they are not evident. All the more reason for the party’s secrecy as they search Kara Tibor for the wanted thugs. Jet Mountain remains wild, dark, and looming, the perfect spot for hidden agendas. This month brings in entirely new rewards. As we mentioned before, not all the models in season 7 are present in the adventure Fractures. After all, the conflict here is limited to the denizens of the city and survivors from outside its walls. Also, remember that this season will have one more month, before we move on to a new series of Models Enter the Null. Before we learn more about this drastic opposition to Vaala, lets take a look at this month’s rewards, available in your collection as members of our tribe. Remember that these models come with three different formats for your convenience: STLs, editable Lychee files, and RPG content in a pdf.
- Aeryn. First featured in the adventure Escape from the City of Crimson Spires, Aeryn is an adventurous ranger who has allied with the great wizard Maandros. She is a staunch ally who won’t shy away from battle, where she fights dirty with blade, knuckle and bow.
- Null-touched wolf. When the Null infects the living bodies of wild and domesticated wolves it shapes them to its strange designs. Like other null-touched beings, animals lose their natural color and any hair that covers their body. Growths turn to tumors that may lead to the loss of limb and skin.
- Null Avatar. A Null avatar appears when a very powerful null spellcaster dies, or when null magic is used on a massive scale. This kind of nullborn reflects the immense power used to create it and has the ability to lay waste to the world if left unchecked.
- Returning Model. Reinknight. Astride the mighty Tundra Charger, reinknights were once wandering knights who offered their arms as reinforcements for the forces of the Holy Ysvalian Alliance. These days, they serve the city of Vaden, breaking the formations of foes with unparalleled strength.
- Loyalty Reward. The Cipaxólod, the gigantic axolotls that roam the Nahuinn landscape. Beware their toxic gill stalks and their endless hunger. It is time, perhaps, that we speak of the Null. Since its first appearance in Valerna, this mystifying force has only had one aim: to feast on Vaala. It comes from the void beyond, an absolute force that degrades and corrupts. It is known that an opening for this force that simultaneously is and isn’t was left as a result of mortal meddling with magic affairs. Lifeforms touched by Null are twisted in a way that they cannot affect the universe except by negating it, by causing a quiet decay that spreads across reality like a disease. The greatest threats to come to Valerna and the Red Moon hail not from the dragons or the designs of mortals, but from the warped tendrils of the Null. Like all other models you have received through this tribe, we’d like to remind you that the stats we share—while constructed with care—may change in the final core rulebooks. Especially with models like the Null. We want our greatest threat to be the best it can be. We talked about The Rise of Itza yesterday. Today, we’d like to focus on a different project. The campaign is still live. Click here to find it!
From Heaven: Angels, Devas and Fallen Draco Forge is live with their first Kickstarter Campaign! Massive resin miniatures based on the angelic illustrations by Yin Zhe to add a whole new layer of challenge to your brushes and your dice. From Heaven brings gorgeously haunting models, along with role-playing content for you to introduce them into your table. Fight the creatures in unique encounters and create your own Deva character using the 5th edition rules of the world’s most famous roleplaying game. Click here to learn more!
ExpandThe Incoming Horrors
Welcome back, tribers The City of Crimson Spires never rests, and so, with March so close to its end, we get ready for the next month in season 7: Fractures. Has the party discovered the tunnels yet? did they explore the buildings in Thoue? More secrets await. Season 7 is going to be a little different from the others, as you may have noticed already. Maandros and Xaltozani, two of your rewards in March, are not featured in the adventure. They belong to other products in the Dragonbond universe, specifically the adventure path Escape from the City of Crimson Spires, as written by Brian Suskind and Sarah Madsen. April, similarly, will bring in whole new models that are not featured in the adventure. Lets take a look at your incoming rewards!
- Aeryn, the wizard’s protege
- The Null-touched wolf
- The Avatar of the Null
- Returning Model: The Reinknight The Null approaches. The absolute opposite and predator of Vaala, not of Valerna, but from without. Where Vaala is motion and change, the Null is stagnation. Ever since its appearance it has sent ripples through the history of the world. Expect to see more tales woven around its pressing influence.
The Rise of Itza
The city of Angdáin is in danger, and one necromancer may hold the key to its future, and that of Valerna. Witness this tale as told by best-selling author George Mann and illustrated by Mariano Laclaustra, and explore the magic that surrounds the world of Dragonbond. Click here to learn more about the campaign and claim your copy now!
ExpandMarch Release!
Welcome back, tribers! The month is over, and with it, the danger posed to the party by the dragons of the Shrilling Sands—for now. How did you fare against the Exor predators in the caves? The party’s safety is mostly guaranteed after their bout with the wyrms. So while they figure out their next steps, let’s talk about the upcoming season. Some of you may be familiar with the adventure Escape from the City of Crimson Spires. It was a free sample we offered as part of the Itza’s Guide to Dragonbonding Kickstarter campaign (you can find the sample adventure here). This City of Crimson Spires, like all important harbors and big cities, is home to many stories. Season 7, Fractures, brings all-new models from the world of Dragonbond. The rewards this season are a mix of creatures from Kara Tibor (the city) and some mysterious creatures that won’t be featured in the adventure—we just couldn’t resist sharing. This adventure sees the party exploring the city commons, learning about its people and discovering a dangerous ploy. Here are some of the models that you can expect this season.
- Maandros and Aeryn from Escape from the City of Crimson Spires.
- Xaltozani the dragon hatchling from the same adventure
- Termeszek the giant ants from Tyveria
- And many more! Season 7’s adventure may see the party facing a dragon, and with it, a potential dragonbond. Are you ready?
Painting Competition
Rise of Itza is right around the corner. This tale of destruction, dreams and sacrifice by bestselling author George Mann is coming to Kickstarter later this month. As part of the coming campaign, we are hosting a painting competition! Some of you may already have Itza’s model in your library, which is what we’ll use for the contest. If you weren’t able to catch the model, you can find it here. Glimpse the possible futures and fight for your own. Click here to learn more about the challenge.
ExpandHalfway o February
Welcome, tribers! The season is coming to a close! The dragons in the ridge may have been felled, but Valernians should remain on the lookout. This foothold is only the beginning. Let’s take a look at your rewards this month!
- Exor Dragonkin (in three poses)
- Exor dragon
- Vyris
- Rawraxxa, the Apex Huntress A Ridge of One’s Own features two unique dragons from brood Exor. Both have deserted Rawraxxa’s brood, a deathwish, and a search for their own identity. Both dragons are included in the PDF that you get with your model. Which one did you paint first? Did you start with the stench-ridden face of Enzoraxx or Raztexx’s prideful, raging visage? Perhaps you went your own way! We’d love to see it! There are many tales to be told in the Red Moon, and some of them are available in our adventure compendium Great Wyrms of Drakha. Seven fourth-tier adventures with epic encounters against one of the Azhurmas as the climax. Face the dragons that lead the broods that invade Valerna every 27 years. Rawraxxa, the Throwback Model in your rewards this month, is featured in her own adventure. Survive once more in the Shrilling Sands and tear the dragon from the skies and out of the dunes. We’re also adding a few unique rewards this month. For one, we are adding split bases for some of your models received in one of our earlier seasons. These are meant to give you a more modular experience when putting together and painting your minis. Specifically, we have adjusted the scale of the three poses of the Fai Goblin, and we have also added a scenic base for the Fell Knight. We’ll update more existing bases as time goes along. Naturally, we’ll keep you posted. We also added a new art guide for you. Take a look at the fearsome creatures that have conquered the Red Moon. The dragons and their azhurma roar mighty.
Rise of Itza
Are you a fan of comic books and graphic novels? Perhaps a fan of George Mann, known for his work in Star Wars and Doctor Who, among others? Coming to kickstarter next month, Dragonbond Rise of Itza is a tale of desperate choices, draconic incursions and political strife. Click here to be notified on launch!
ExpandJanuary and February Release - 3D Printable Miniatures For You!
Hello, Tribers! How goes the treacherous trudge through the Red Moon? These are dire circumstances, but surely the party can be up for the challenge. We have a couple of things to communicate today, but let’s take a look at this month’s rewards. Remember that each of these comes with an STL, editable Lychee files and rpg content in the shape of a pdf. Stormwurm - 75 mm scenic base Young Stormwurm - 50 mm scenic base Larva Stormwurm (two poses) - 25 mm scenic base Ryellus - 30 mm scenic base Godao Guild Enforcer - 25 mm scenic base Cipag Lizard (loyalty reward) - 280 mm scenic base January also marks another landmark for loyalty rewards. Those of you who have been members for nine months starting May 2022 should have access to the cipag lizard. These mountain-sized monstrosities scour the humid reaches of Nahuac and neighboring lands. They are responsible for many cataclysms and more fallen adventurers. This month’s PDFs are a bit different from what we are used to. A single one covers all three forms of the stormwurm, and to make up for the space left, we are adding “the schematics,” an appendix from the running adventure. This way you can bring them into any other tale.
In light of this, we would like to share with you the models that will be launched in February.
- Exor Dragon - 75mm scenic base
- Exor Dragonkin - 32mm scenic base
- Vyris- 25mm scenic base
- Rawraxxa - 100mm scenic base
- Cipag Lizard (loyalty reward 3 ) - 280 mm scenic base
Update: What does OGL 1.1 mean for Draco Studios?
Greetings, tribe! We have some news that leaves us speechless as we begin this new year, and we want to share a little more with you at the following link. ++What does OGL 1.1 mean for Draco Studios? – Draco Studios++ We would like to hear your thoughts in the comments. Warm hugs to all.
ExpandHappy new year, Tibers!
We here at Draco Studios have only bright wishes for you during 2023. May we go on many more adventures together. This year we took a plunge into Valerna and its people. First, things got dark as we made our descent from the Fell to the Hollowdepths. We met some of the denizens of the tunnels. Some were friends, others, decidedly not. We went from the skies to the depths of the Sikarian seas. There, we added sea creatures and sky dwarves to our collections. Later, the party took to the sands of the Scourge. We faced orcs on dinosaurs, burrowed dragons and survived the tremors in the sands (I love you, thunderhorn model). Then things got very familiar as the party reached Nahuac. You added monstrous bugs from the Primalian mountains and the spectral woes of the Weeping Mother, along with local shapeshifting folk. Now look at us, provoking the rage of dragons in their conquered home. Coming up next month, we have more dangers from the Red Moon, along with a new loyalty reward for nine-month-long memberships. Take a look at this teaser for a closer look at January’s rewards.

ExpandSculpt in Detail - Boaab
The snakefolk of the Triumvirate are here
Boaab are one of the most ancient peoples of Valerna. Once, they welcomed humans into their fold, seeking to protect their fast lives from the dangers of Valerna. Today, they are staunch enemies born from different natures. Boaab snakefolk are quick, smart and strong; they stand out as fascinating psions and dedicated lawmakers. Though independent, boaab form knots of collaboration with one another, and often thrive the most when working together and alongside their orcish and djaati peers.
Show us your prints and paints! We love seeing different takes on our creatures.
ExpandSculpt in Detail - Amberblood orcs
Lets take a look at some past minis!
Amberblood orcs is an umbrella term we use to refer to any obakkar who takes up arms to defend the Scourge Triumvirate, especially those without formal training or any interest of getting close to a war-mother. Locals, merchants, combatants, they all pick up arms and fight with their lives.
Which one was your favorite pose?
ExpandOgerron Mauler of Ruin
One of our Throwback Model, take a look at the Tyverian army
Maulers of Ruin are unstoppable ogerron warriors who instill fear in their foes. If their sheer size were not enough to make the bravest opponent falter, their strength and understanding of the battlefield from a primal standing point, certainly does the trick. When mixed with Chainers of Pain, a trail of corpses is sure to follow.
Did you know they can gain wisdom from eating their fallen foes? What do you think they'd get of you when they inevitably squish you under their force?

ExpandIn Plain Sight Teaser
Hello, Tribers! It has been seen before, and noted in many scrolls, that K’aab as an aspect of Vaala, the mystic everything that best manifests in our land, can provoke changes in the living. Much like Id—the aspect of Will—which results in the creation of Kadhah, K’aab can result in fascinating changes. Great emotion seems to trigger the transformation just as much as adaptation for survival. Consider the weeping parents seen on river banks, floating aimlessly, living in unimaginable pain. – Found among a Beak’s notes. This season, The Cicadas of Tocotzin Six Canopies, sees the party traverse through the city of Angdain. They are to complete an investigation into strange disappearances in the easternmost neighborhood. It continues the story of the city as it remains after the events of Dragonbond: Rise of Itza, and features unique characters from the world of Dragonbond. Season 5 is only beginning. It’s time to talk about what is coming up next for month 502: In Plain Sight, which takes place in October, 2022..
- Itza Chapula. STL, editable Lychee file, RPG content. A xibac necromancer and the protagonist of Dragonbond: Rise of Itza. Hers is a tale of heroism and Source running rampant.
- Reganna Fulgen. STL, editable Lychee file, RPG content. A ruthless dragon, known among the Fulgen brood for being mercenary in her ways. Once she was a threat, but the events of Dragonbond: Rise of Itza have changed her. She may have dragonbonded, but she remains a dragon nonetheless.
- Ossuary Guardian. STL in three poses, editable Lychee files, RPG content. A common sight in xibac spaces, these golems of bone and flesh are protectors of mausoleums and temples. These creatures, built from discarded bone and living matter are far stronger and faster than the sum of their parts. You will also get a unique encounter against Itza and Reganna named Death and her Dragon. ExpandDragonbond Endless Sagas
Welcome back!
October is coming up, and with it, our most ambitious campaign is getting closer. Dragonbond: Endless Sagas, the roleplaying game for the world of dragonbond, is near.
With Endless Sagas, we want to continue exploring the world of Dragonbond, from the lands of Valerna to the reaches of the Red Moon from where dragons come to raid. Three books are considered as base rewards. First, a rulebook which teaches you how to create your own character and how to survive the dangers of Valerna. Second is a bestiary with hundreds of new, unique creatures, including fascinating new ways to look at dragons. Finally, a gazetteer that showcases the world of Dragonbond, its realms, its peoples, its magic and its rules.
Endless Sagas is fully 5e compatible, but we are trying a few new mechanics that best fit into our world. For one, one of our main goals with Endless Sagas is to introduce a fully balanced dragon companion system. Grow alongside a dragon and take your adventures to new heights. There are no gods, only the actions of Valernians shape reality and speak of morality. Magic works through the endless flow of Vaala and its three aspects: Dream, Source and Blood.
The Kickstarter campaign for Dragonbond Endless Sagas will be live on october 31st, but you don’t have to wait for your tale to develop. Click here to get your own digital copy of Escape from the City of Crimson Spires, the first step into Tyrant of the Cursed Coast, our first published saga. This sample was written by Sarah Madsen and Ennie award winner Brian Suskind. Explore the cradle of crime and lawlessness as you secure transport for a surprising piece of cargo: a dragon’s egg.

ExpandNew Realm: Triumvirate, Thunderhorn Queen - 50% off
Hello, tribers, Let's take a look at some more sculpts, some art, and learn some more about the Triumvirate.
Sabaari communities are known for how easily they tame the saurids of the Southorn. These ancient creatures serve as much as war mounts as they do as transport in the endless plains and sparse dunes of the Southerlands. The jutting ruins of Altanessi dominion are often mistaken for stones of the desert. Even the most abandoned of these offers a record of history.
Amber orc war-mothers often ride saurids, but they are not the only ones who ride them, nor are saurids the only way with which they wage war. They are incredibly smart and strategic leaders, as well as fierce combatants. Orcs and saurids trust them, and they have what it takes to deserve it.
These saurids, the Thunderhorn, are one of our favorites. The artwork is amazing and the sculpt is even better.

ExpandNew Realm - Triumvirate, Maw Tyrant
Fancy a look at a crucial wisdom of the Scourge Triumvirate?
The Scouring Flame is might made light, Throes of fire for the fuels, Throes of liquid stone as tools, Throes of scale to reach our height.
The Scouring Flame is right made light, And so our burning spreads and flows, And so our great alliance grows, And so our fire wins the fight.
The Scouring Flame! The Three-way Truth!
We are very excited to show you today's render. Aside from the special STLs we've offered in Great Wyrms of Drakha and the Demons of the Hollowdepths, this is one of our largest. These creatures are apex predators who relish in their collaboration with the obakkar. By far, this is the most difficult land creature to tame.

ExpandOdyssey Through The Planes
Welcome back, tribers Last year, the djaat of Nekkera built an obelisc so high you could barely see the flame that allegedly burned at the top. The entire thing was engraved with text and minuscule pictures of the history of the Triumvirate. A sight to behold. In retrospect, it’s fortunate that they didn’t build it this year… - A traveling púka’s account Month 402: Knots of Rebellion is still going strong and the adventure for season 5 is now in the works. Do you have any guesses as for what is coming next? Remember that, as part of our tribe, you get a 50% discount on all products in our store. You also get amazing miniatures every month. Here is what you should have available this month. Please let us know if this is not the case for you.
- War-mother on Skywing
- Boaab
- Amber Orc Outrider on Scytherunner
- Throwback Model: Ogerron Mauler of Ruin Some of you may have also received a copy of the margur. This is our first loyalty reward, for any triber who has been in our tribe for three consecutive months starting May 2022 as month one. Also, remember that as a member of our tribe you get 50% off on any purchase in our store.
Odyssey Through The Planes
Today’s is a special post. Our very own Daniel Ehrli has launched a campaign for his homebrew setting: Uxeden. Odyssey through the Planes is an all-digital campaign that offers unique bestiary and terrain tiles sculpted by Axolote Gaming. It mixes the best parts of modular construction products like Lego and Minecraft to ensure that the only limit is your creativity. Ehrli is our creative director and the mind behind our draconic sculpts, along with others like the skywing. Suffice it to say, the sculpts in his campaign are just as fantastic. Daniel also included one creature from the world of Dragonbond: the cipaxolod. The gigantic axolotls from the realms of Nahuac. These are huge, elephant-sized, amphibious monsters whose venom is terrible for humans, as well as fantastic reagents. The ciaxolod will be available for our tribe and in our store eventually, but this is an excellent way to get your own digital files now.

ExpandNew Realm - Triumvirate, presents Outrider
Welcome back!
Today we take a look at some of the lore and ideas that make up the Scourge Triumvirate of Sabaar. We also offer a look at some renders and pieces of artwork.
The Scourge Triumvirate has taken its architectural roots from its bakka amber and the structures natural to the material. Thus, the Southorn is filled with fascinating shapes, each using hexagonal and incredibly sturdy pieces of amber.
Everyone in the Triumvirate, especially orcs, are willing and, roughly, able to ride saurids. It is a technique that has been passed around for many generations. Yet the best prepared orcs are known as outriders. Commonly, they are trained to ride saurids specifically, so they often know unique techniques. Their ride of choice is commonly the scytherunner.
Outrider on Scytherunner sculped by Roberto Chaudon. Art direction by Tom Babbey and Steve Prescott
ExpandComing next month
Welcome back, tribers! Underground motions are common in the least populated areas of the deserts of the Southerlands. It’s usually some underground creature hunting, or a pair of them fighting or mating. But these? These are bad news…
The sun is nearing its zenith, burning the sand under your feet. As it does, new rewards approach for next month. We are very excited about sharing the Scourge Triumvirate with you, and we hope you are enjoying it as much as we are. It is a scorching land of saurids, orcs, serpentfolk and elementals with a heavy history in its scrolls..
Let’s take a look!
- War-mother on Skywing. Skywings are the horrors of the sky. War-mothers who ride these creatures are well-versed in flight and swooping techniques, which perfectly merge with the natural ways of the saurids. Their front claws, like those of a bat, are webbed, allowing them to spend most of their time airborne.
- Boaab. Some of the most ancient peoples on Valerna. Long ago, before the times of the Altanessi Empire, the might of the Boaab stretched far. Now, receded to the Southerlands with their new allies, the snakefolk of the Triumvirate maintain their powerful grasp over politics and law.
- Outrider on Scytherunner. The vastly organized raptors of the Southerlands serve as one of the more common mounts for the amber orcs. These saurids are quick and productive in their violence, which often plays in unison with the training of their rider.
Which one is your favorite? Let us know in the comments!
This month’s Throwback Model is the Maulers of Ruin, the ogerron unit from the Blood Empire of Tyveria’s army in Dragonbond: Battles of Valerna.
Remember that our first loyalty reward is still out there for the taking. In fact, month 402 will see a lot of you take your own copy of the margur for turning three consecutive months of being part of our tribe. If you’ve been part of our tribe uninterruptedly since May 2022, you will be able to find this tentacled foe in your library.
ExpandThe creatures that wait

ExpandSculpt in detail - Sky Dwarves
Ready for more of our models in the spotlight?
Gemmed, strong and ready for action, take a look at our sky dwarves. Sculpted by Roberto Chaudon. These (because they come in three poses) are some more sculpts from the world of Dragonbond available in our store. Join our tribe and get more STLs like these every month.
Nwoda Sky Dwarves
- Print by Raúl Eduardo Díaz González Time: 5:13hrs
- STL in our Tribes - April Release "The sky dwarves of Valerna are intriguing creatures whose bodies present gorgeous gems, naturally protruding from their skins. These dwarves are curious folk who travel the world seeking and exercising their freedom. It takes crews of sky dwarves to pilot a shardship, each focusing on their own crystal section of the hull."
A sky dwarf's life seldom sees a moment's rest. Even when relaxing and telling tales to one another, more often than not, your dwarven peer will stand on the table and violently gesticulate for dramatic flair.
Each color gem has their own culture and priorities, but all of them linked to their endless search for freedom. The Yuman sky dwarves (amethist) are fascinated by law and trade. Many still see them as unofficial elders for their key role during the rebellion so many years ago.
Can you guess or do you remember the other gems common in the sky dwarves?
ExpandNew Realm - Triumvirate, presents Scytherunner
A new realm is coming. The map of Valerna is expanding to the south and introducing the Scourge Triumvirate of Sabaar. Marvel at the orcs astride dinosaurs, the snakefolk of the desert, and the fire elementals that make up this new faction. The amber orcs of the Scourge Triumvirate are celebrated warriors, and their saurid mounts inspire fear on their foes. Matriarchal and united like none other, the obakkar of the southerlands believe in pushing one another, on feeding their Scouring Flame.
ExpandBundles and Dragonbonds
As you know, the tribe consists of plenty of models of amazing creatures. Every month you end up with at least 5 models—three of them come together as different poses of the same creature. We want to make sure that you are getting what you want, the way you want.
At this point you are getting an STL.zip that contains: each model non-supported and pre-supported for complete versions and the non-supported and pre-supported models in parts. You also have accss to the LYS.zip, which contains the pre-supported model both in the complete version and in parts. Both editable.
The purpose of this poll, then, is focused on how you want to get your rewards. Go to the following link to let us know what you think.
ExpandSculpt in detail - Shaba Watu Muser
We're back with more spotlight on our sculpts!
Let's take a look at the Muser, another gem by Roberto Chaudon. Pun only slightly intended. The Shaba Watu Muser was a monthly reward during month 302: Gems in the sky. You can still get your own from our store!
A medium creature, common to the Jeweled Desert, these dream-touched folk are fascinating storytellers.
- Shaba Watu Muser Print by Raúl Eduardo Díaz González Time: 4:05hrs STL in our Tribes - April Release " Dream-touched people, extremely tall humans who came into being through the residual magic of the Dreambleed, which makes them as old as the Jeweled Desert itself. These elongated folk could be impressive dream sorcerers, if only they cared even a little bit to pursue it."
When we first came up with these people we named them "navigators," which resulted in Nebaku. Somebody (me) really wanted to keep him as a navigator.
Though all shaba watu are touched with the force of dream, musers are most often wise elders who speak in mumbles and metaphor. However, one of the main things about our setting is the great freedom posed by Vaala, and not all musers are necessarily old, wise spiritual leaders. Nebaku, for instance has earned great power, but the closest thing he has for a tribe is captain Oru's crew.

ExpandHow fare the seas?
A crew of Kuti dwarves came into the inn last week. They told a tale of adventures and ruins in the Primalian mountains. I thought it was balderdash, but then one of them offered to sell a relic they found there—a strange feline sculpture made with steel. He only strongly suggested that it would bring more money into the business, but I have nothing to lose at this point.
Welcome back, dragonbonded,
The adventurers who recently touched harbor in Kasane have delved into the water and the Akademis that lies below. On the surface, the Roaming Blade remains steady. Her captain, one Ory Yuman, remains vigilant to the horizon and the skies above, every now and again stealing glances from the ocean, hopeful that the mercenaries will recover their children.
Month 302, Gems in the Sky, continues the adventure The Sepakis Process by showing off some of the creatures present in the first act and those who push the mercenaries into action.
- Shaba Wati Muser. The shaba watu dream-touched folk of the Jeweled Desert are wise traveling people. Their nature, so deeply connected to Fai, would insist that they are masterful dreamshapers, but few ever try to reach this potential. Nebaku, a mate and navigator on board of the Roaming Blade, has grown truly fond of the missing dwarves, and has made it his own mission to find them.
- Gemstone Golem, Nwoda. Sky dwarves are known for their shardships, but also for their yahum creations. Yahum is the practice through which sky dwarves and others awaken capabilities in the gems of the desert. Some shards simply add oomph to a weapon or flying abilities to structures, other, more convoluted processes, result in the enormous golems with which the dwarves travel often.
- Sky dwarves. Nomadic, curious and with an unquenchable thirst for exploring their world and their freedom. The sky dwarves of the Nwoda clans are shorter humanoids with colorful gems that decorate their bodies. They scour the land in shardships—made with gems from their birthstone, which hovers over the desert. Excellent traders and explorers, poets and bards.
Join our tribe now for these and more rewards. Upon subscribing, you get access to the Intro Pack, a collection of STLs and accompanying RPG content for five playable characters, four NPCs and one high-tier creature for your party to face.
Want some more? Luckily, our first stretch goal has been unlocked at 600 members. Every month, along with your monthly rewards, you get one of our Throwback Models. These are some of the models that we released a couple of years ago for Battles of Valerna with small tweaks to each model as we have deemed necessary through our explorations. Each of these comes with RPG content and an art-guide that expands on the world of Dragonbond.
This month’s throwback model is the Galadyan Warpriest.
Loyalty Rewards
As our tribe grows and lets us explore and toy with our own universe, we want to show our appreciation for those of you who stay with the tribe for extend periods of time. Starting today, we are introducing loyalty rewards. That is to stay. If you join today, your first loyalty reward will arrive by June. All members who stay with us for three months in a row starting today, receive one additional STL: the Margur, along with its RPG content and art bite.
Margura, plural, are independent horrors of the ocean. They are solitary, violent creatures who use strategy to decimate any enemy. A single margur is enough to put any sikarian community on high alert. Of all the things the zoethurgists could have given them, opposable thumbs are perhaps the worst idea, as made evident by their tridents and weapons.
ExpandSculpt in Detail - Gemstone Golem, Nwoda
Today's model in the spotlight is the Gemstone golem, the Nwoda variant.
It was sculpted by Roberto Chaudón.
These things pack a punch, and we made sure that it was evident.
We love those rough, mean edges. Some people in the team like to think that sharp, rock-face edges spell home to the Nwoda.
What do you think the Shaba watu variant looks like? Let us know in the comments!
All our models come with: STL, supports, editable Lychee file and RPG content.
Printer on Anycubic photon with withe resin.

STL in our Tribes - April Release
" It is a common practice among the peoples of the Jeweled Desert to put together golems using infused yahum crystals. Each community has their own tradition. One can confidently identify two such traditions: those of the sky dwarves, and those of the Shaba Watu communities."
ExpandHey Tribers... what's coming for April?
Welcome back, Dragonbonded! How are you enjoying our adventure so far with the Sepakis Process? It’s time to carry onward with this season's adventure. Two dwarves are missing and all traces lead to the Sikarian Seas. Your adventurers have braved the mysteries of the northern seas and now it's time to go further deep to find new challenges and help find the missing dwarves if they still live. “Gems in the Sky” is the second month of our third season “The Sepakis Process” and is coming to you on April 1st. What will this new chapter bring to your 3D printing and RPG arsenal?
- Shaba Watu Muser. STL (25 mm base). A reclusive humanoid tribe from the Jeweled Desert, the Shaba Watu are contemplative nomads, Dream-touched by the magic sands. They roam the desert in stoic, quiet caravans, sometimes trading with their allies and neighbors, the Nwoda Sky Dwarves.
- Nwoda Sky Dwarves. STL in three poses (25 mm base). The sky dwarves of the Jeweled Desert, known as Nwoda in their own language, are adventurous, clannish people, filled with wanderlust but also with strong ties to their homeland and the floating gem clusters where they make their homes. The best-known trait of sky dwarves is their ability to make stones fly and perform incredible acrobatics by the floating magic they call yahum.
- Gemstone Golem, Nwoda. STL (50mm base). A gemstone golem looks like a large set of irregular crystals, floating in a vaguely humanoid shape. While each crystal in the golem floats independently, they always move together, like a swarm of flying creatures. All STL files come presupported, with 5e RPG content, stat blocks and editable files for Lychee. Welcome back, tribers,
How do you fare against the terrible cold of the Sikarian archipelago? What hook did your party take and how did they fare against the pirates in that fateful chase to Kasane?
Our third season is live, and it will see us delve into the depths of the water and the brightest skies as we learn more about Sikaria and Nwoda. These realms have not been explored quite as much as the others. We hope your adventures with these people unleash many more stories. Remember that your party should be fighting normally while underwater, unless they ignored the Poseicles mutagen.
We have received many prints from you through our discord and social media. Have you printed any minis from this season or our previous ones? Show them to us!
Through your support, you’ve unlocked one of our stretch goals! Our throwback miniatures will be included into your monthly rewards as long as your membership remains active. This month’s mini is the Ocelinn. Get yours now!
A short post, but an important one nonetheless. Please let us know if you have any issues with your pledge by sending us an email at support@dracostudios.com titled “issue with tribes.”
- Every season we have a painting contest for our tribers and community. Places first to third get free subscriptions to our tribe in different tiers. One year for first, one season for second, and one month for third. A fourth randomly picked winner may get a month’s subscription as well. Join now and show us your painted models!
The Sepakis Process
Welcome back, dragonbonded.
The fate of Grindoen’s Court has been sealed, chosen and molded beyond its expectations. Not by prophecy, but by actions and choices. The Lucid Bauble has been collected, and the battles between deepdwellers and z’aari in the Hollowdepths continues.
How did your valiant adventurers fare against the horrors? Did they give the lucid bauble to Hindruil as promised, or did they warn Mofaran of its power?
More adventures await the party, new dangers, challenges, and quite a bit of cold.
Season 3: The Sepakis Process
The elves in the northern seas dedicate their lives to shaping the world around them through zoethurgy—a process that sees them change the very basic nature of the creatures of the ocean. A secret stirs under the waters below in the Tenufos Akademis where a pair of sky dwarves have been spotted: the very same missing from the Roaming Blade.
Embark on an underwater body horror adventure, and add some of the unique terrors, foes and friends you will face in The Sepakis Process.
We are truly excited about showing you this side of Dragonbond. These peoples have a unique relationship with the world they live in and add complexity to the relationships between realms. They are also far more connected with their flow of Vaala than their appearance and behaviors suggest.
The Nwoda arrived with the Dreambleed. Their flying ships are a common sight all over Valerna, trading and transporting for anyone who can pay. Witness them control their fall and pilot their ships made of crystals across the sky.
Month 301, March, comes with plenty of rewards for you. For one, the new adventure, as well as an important update to your Intro Pack: the monthly Throwback mini. March means the Ocelinn are coming. The most populous peoples of Nahuac, these valiant warriors and stalkers join your collection. With the ocelinn comes an art bite from our extended art compendium.
You will perhaps notice that the Sepakis Process only mentions the Nahuac Coalition in passing, let alone focus on one of its peoples. This is according to plan and is the direct result of our development stages. Sikaria will one day enter the wargame, but we didn’t want to limit ourselves in the RPG. Still, Nahuac and Sikaria are, as you will soon discover, inextricably linked.
As members of our Tribe, you get the following rewards as well:
- Kaimera. STL, supports, editable Lychee file, RPG content. The core of Sikarian zoethurgy, the blue elves’ life magic, a kaimera is a mutated lifeform, altered by the experiments of sikari sages. Kaimerai are the embodiment of the blue elves’ goal: to play with the laws of life.
- Sikari Kaimeran STL, supports, editable Lychee file, RPG content. Alchemists and geneticists ready for battle. They lead battalions and are prepared to modify their army at the drop of a hat with air as the medium.
- Sikari Keraunos STL in three poses, supports, editable Lychee file, RPG content. Kaeraunai (plural for keraunos) are living lightning specialists, with the ability to channel electrical currents through their living crystals.
- School of Life - Wizard RPG content. Instructions on how to create a Zoethurgist, or a School of Life wizard. A supplement. As usual, all of these creatures are somehow linked to the season’s adventure. Soon, you’ll learn who is who.
Stretch Goals
Our tribe keeps growing, and the more people join us, the more Stretch Goals we can all unlock. Spread the word and help us get to 700 subscribers.
When we do, you will get a new miniature: Chieftain Metka the Younger.
Additionally, you are getting one more adventure. Faster and shorter than the seasonal adventures, this stretch goal one-shot is part of our projects associated with Dragonbond. We’ll keep you posted as the initiative evolves.
Beta Readers Program
We are taking steps to making the Dragonbond Roleplaying game real, and as with everything we do, we want to do this with you. We are putting together a group of Beta readers to take a look at what we’ve created for Dragonbond and help us make the first edition as amazing as it can be.

Each of these models include RPG information and an art bite that explains their role in the world of Dragonbond. For instance, skorpikons are often used in tyvalite mining, as well as in combat.
Our next adventure concerns Sikaria and Nwoda. It is a body horror experience where the party takes on a job: rescuing a pair of missing twins who have gone missing in the northern seas. ExpandBlack Friday is coming!
Welcome, tribe!
November is halfway done and this can only mean one thing: deals are coming up. MyMiniFactory has a special Black Friday coming up and we are a part of it!
As you know, Lair and Draco Studios have a history of sculpting awesome minis (they added, humbly). Most of these belong to our universes: Dragonbond, which you knew, Eldritch Century, our sci-fi horror universe, and Creature Kingdoms, our whacky archipelago of, well, creatures. But we have also worked alongside Monte Cook, which you can find among ours.
So here goes.
From Friday the 19th and through to December 1st, there will be a 40% discount on everything in our MyMiniFactory store.
Bear in mind, that this doesn’t affect Tribes. Luckily for everyone, however, every STL we’ve released until now as part of our tribe is also in the store. So it doesn’t really impact your monthly memberships or any new membership, but it lets you catch up on any minis you may have missed.
Better news? You can get early access to this discount. Click the cover on the MyMiniFactory homepage to register. Afterward, you will be shown a list of participating stores. Remember, you are looking for LAIR.
If you have any issues claiming the code, please let us know.
Are you part of our **Discord **yet? Stay in touch with the team and other fans of the hobby in real-time. You can also find us on most social media, where you can stay tuned to our news, content, and the awesome minis made in our community.
ExpandTyveria: Power & Blood (November Release)
From the rock and dust of the primalian mountains to the unforgiving swamps in Eastern Valerna, all fear and bend to the maghyri’s will. This month’s collection, our first season’s finale, is Tyveria. The beginning of the adventure, and the center of its political intrigue.
Battle the manticora, a creature from the region that has learned to obey maghyr law and to serve a lord and family. These creatures are smart, dangerous and know how to defend with their spiked bodies. Have your party face a Kadhah, the fearsome curse every maghyr carries. These foes will haunt their target forever, fighting them once and again, growing ever stronger, learning. One thing remains certain to all maghyr with one imperial exception: if the battlefield doesn’t kill you, your kadhah will.
Not all maghyri expect their future with the same conviction. Many require something more before taking their fated step. Add Fareina of house Seren to your collection and see her shape herself into a maghyr house ruler of her own. You will also receive detailed instructions on how to create your own blood sorcerer.
This marks the end of our first season. December will mark the launch of season 2: Halls of Nightmare. Return to the hollowdepths and fai woods with a new quest which will shed more light on the realms and the first of hellscapes that await underground: the Thornmarches. Remember, you don’t have to do anything to receive your rewards; just renew your subscription. Each season includes a full-length adventure as well as monthly rewards to aid running them.
ExpandNew campaign launching this Tuesday
Hello, dragonbonded
How are you enjoying your content? Have your players already set off on their adventure? Next months rewards are ready. Tyveria approaches.
Today we have no news about our tribe, but we do have news. As some of you may know, a couple of months ago we ran a campaign for some amazing Numenera STLs. Well, we have a new Numenera campaign coming up with new sculpts and more options. We have been working really hard on some amazing new sculpts that we want to share with you.
The campaign will include all of the sculpts we have so far created for Numenera, as well as a couple of waves of new ones. This is an opportunity to add previously released miniatures and for your collection to grow with new sculpts that are just as amazing. We have made all of our collections into add-ons to make sure you take only what you want to take. Additionally, we’ll also offer digital copies of Numenera publications.
Remember that this is a fully digital campaign. This means, you’ll have your rewards faster, and all of them are STLs for you to print at home. Among them is a free sample of the sathosh creature that you can claim by simply visiting the campaign when it comes out.
Explore the world of Numenera by our friends from Monte Cook. Stay tuned to our social media and our Discord server for more news.
ExpandA Kingdom of Swirling Dreams (October Release)
Dreams flow outside city walls ever since the dreambleed that tore Valerna to shreds. Allaria has found a way to keep the opalescent maelstrom on its side. Now it is your turn to discover the creatures of the Fai.
The second month of our first season is all about Allaria.
Add the Fai Hydra and Fai Goblins to your bestiary, face the knight of diamonds and explore the possibilities of creating a warlock, tied to a Fell Crown for some tasty cantrips.
ExpandA new tier is upon us
Hello, tribe, and those of you who are yet to join.
We are including a new tier to our subscription scheme. It follows the exact same rules as our other tiers (seasonal adventures and monthly rewards), except focused on the role playing experience. This tier is specially crafted for fans of the hobby, but have no available way to print minis.
A monthly subscription of $2.00 USD will get you access to our growing role-playing system document. Instead of STLs, you get an early chance to give us your feedback on our game as it develops. You will get the rest of the PDF rewards included in the dragonbonded subscription, albeit without an STL to print. Of course, this extends to your Heroes of Valerna starter kit and the adventure (which itself is a pdf).
Through this exercise we’ll be able to adjust our system and have it ready to launch. You will get a chance to play our game and be a part of this community. We want to hear from you so we can make our game better every day. Each document will be accompanied by a feedback form that will let us segment and read your opinions. These documents are not rewards themselves, but a commodity early access meant for our RPG-tier tribe members.
All playtest documents will become free one month after release.
