This month we've got 2 new modular kits for the Ancient Body Stealer Cabal! The Housemasters and the House Guard Elite I really enjoyed making these kits and they help to round out the body stealer cabal with some more critical units. Big thanks to Chaor613 for adding some awesome flourishes to the guns and making them twice as cool! In other news, I've got sooo much stuff planned. Been working like crazy. Apologies for not being very good about posting this month. I'm almost ready to get going on next month's patreon bundle (Raider Cults for the cabal and updated reliquary tanks). I've been putting TONS of work into a HUGE kickstarter project that'll hopefully happen this fall. I want to do a preview but it's still pretty young (about half of the 16 planned new sculpts are underway). You can check out the progress in the dorkfactory discord. Other exciting news: I'm working out a new starter pack! The old one's getting a little dusty so some of the units will get swapped out for cooler stuff.

Communication is only possible via encoded neural link with specially equipped individuals. They were once sharp and present. Now they live as individually caged beasts carrying out depraved lives in twisted habitats of their own creation. They are only released when great destruction can be wrought indiscriminately." The agony constructs are one of my favorite kits. Really happy that they finally got the upgrades they deserve. Hope you enjoy<3 but that's not all...

The Shadowspace Blade Riders are ready as well! "The Blade Bike is a modification of a standard hover bike. First it is stripped down to the essentials. The standard hand steering is replaced with high sensitivity foot controls. Two small shrapnel cannons are installed to cause minor damage in large, conical swaths ahead of the rider, greatly reducing the risks of cutting, whipping, lancing or bludgeoning a target while reducing the likelihood of adjacent attackers landing a blow and unsteadying the rider." These guys can be built quite a few ways. I went a little crazier than usual making heads. I took extra time on both these kits cause I wanted to cram a lot of pieces in there. Anybody who joins this list will get a free sample mini every month (this is in addition to the regular bundle). Partly this is to reach new people, partly it's to have an email safety net to guard against all the brutal and turbulent social media algorithms out there, and partly it's because people seem to paint free sample models a lot and that's my absolute favorite part of making minis -- seeing what other people do with them on their tabletops!

The day has come! The Headcount at Dawn kickstarter project is finally out there! A TREMENDOUS amount of work has gone into making this project and I am beyond thrilled to see it finally go out into the world. Before I go on a wild rant, patrons, there's a special reward for you at the end of this post.

Headcount at dawn is a lore-driven set of 32mmscale miniatures. It includes 2 skirmish factions: the Human Survivor Militia, and the Usurper Worm Horde. Both factions come with free playable rules for onepagerules' grimdark future firefight, and the Usurper Worm Horde can be used as D&D 5e monsters! This project can be backed to get printable STL files (humans, worms, or both!). It can ALSO be backed to get physical minis mailed straight to you! The campaign page contains a lot of backstory. Some in the faction areas, some on the unit statlines for the playable game rules, and more throughout the page, but the original spark for the lore was this: "Our beloved world is gone. the people of Persephon have been twisted beyond recognition into the source of their own demise.  Aside for a few thousand living and a few million obliterated dead, this world of 2 billion has become monsters. In our last fortress city, we have nearly a planet's worth of weaponry, but, unchecked, the enemy grows stronger by devouring any life it finds -- even itself, when necessary. to our great relief, the enemy has deep-rooted instincts that we can leverage. We fight numbers and ferocity with tested methods. Victory is achievable but it will require near-perfection... and we are exhausted.  extinction looms behind every corner. If a dawn comes after the last worm is slain, how many of us will be alive to see it?"

Happy April everyone, Hope you're all doing well. Sorry for the slow model release this month, it's been an INCREDIBLY busy month. That said, here's the first pack of models for this month! The Cyber Ghouls These guys were a special project I did for the legendary Dutchmogul a few years ago. I STILL think they turned out to be one of the most solid designs I've ever done. Dutchmogul was kind enough to allow me to pass them on to tribers, so if you're one of them, you can download them from your library now! Definitely take a look at Dutchmoguls many, many many many designs if you're unfamiliar. He's one of the first big names I came to know in the world of 3D printing. In other news... The first dorkfactory kickstarter is almost here! I have done so much work on this project it's probably not healthy lol. It's a lore-driven project about 2 skirmish factions. The Human Survivor Militia and the Usurper Worm Horde. I'll keep it brief in this post but tomorrow is launch day so I'll post again with a lot more info. Hope you're all well. Enjoy the Ghouls! Hello my friends, The models have been optimized and test printed and they're ready for download! Here's a look at the March bundle, as well as a little news.

The March Bundle

We've got new void commandos! The advance strike void commando builder kit is ready to build out in 2 flavors: Melee talons, and standard weaponry. alongside the commandos, we've got some blood thirsty close combat gorebot skinners! And finally, the return of most controversial dorkfactory model ever... The Mother of Demons. She's based off a truly grim, dark and horrifying concept called a Daemonculaba (google if you dare). Some people really love this model, some people really hate it lol. Welp, that's the bundle for March! Tribers will see these models and the starter pack in their libraries in a few minutes... Currently I'm doing lots of work for the upcoming kickstarter and I'll post about that here soon. Also working on a large new gorebot for next month. AND, I'll be making models for the maker's cult in April -- which means in May dorkfactory tribers will get those too! Also, tribes finally implemented loyalty rewards! expect to see some extra stuff soon if you've been part of the tribe for a bit... Very Busy times in the dorkfactory indeed!

Something new

Social media and other platforms for spreading the word are HARD. Things have gone pretty well but when algorithms change it can be downright devastating. That's why I've finally started an email-based update group. This will not only make it much easier to have a central place for EVERYTHING dorkfactory, rather than posts relevant to each platform or community, but It will also help to avoid the pitfalls of relying on big social media companies. Good Afternoon my friends, Today is a very special day; the long awaited dorkinators are HERE. Officially, they are named the Armored Void Commandos, and they are rockin a full kit of heretical gear options. I've been posing them digitally and in real life for days and I am quite pleased with this kit. It took a long time to figure out how I wanted to edit the Corrupted Void Commandos to create their larger brothers. I went through many sketches and crappy 3d experiments. Finally, they are ready. They print like a dream (at least on an anycubic photon mono using Elegoo ABS-like grey). I believe I finally cracked the code of "velcro-off" supports. Definitely let me know how printing goes, I'm very curios to hear about this kit. Very happy with this kit. I hope you all enjoy it too! Tribers can download them RIGHT NOW! Pleasant blessings my friends, The first fruits of Super Dorkfactory Month have ripened! The Heavy Anomaly Hunters, as you probably know, are an alteration of the original Anomaly Hunters. I am really, REALLY happy with how they turned out. One day I realllllly want to make a modular kit for these guys but once again the Dorkfactory has been bested by it's arch nemesis... time... June is fast approaching... Here's a look at what's coming up in the Dorkfactory.

This time around there are 2 new sets! The first of which is the Acidscream Juggernauts. This set includes 3 bodies and fully poseable arms. PREPARE YOURSELVES!

We've also got the Slasher Spawn. This set is a close-combat variation of the Infantry Spawn with TEN new bodies, 4 new heads and many different poses of slashing appendages. These guys will show up midway through June.

And making it's final lap in the vault we've got the Heavy Necro Quad Walkers.

This bizarre monstrosity started as a joke but became so much more...

This is a large model that's pre-posed, pre-supported and ready to print in 7 pieces. It was a very fun exercise in excess. Given that he has so many arms and strange appendages, it only seemed right to give all of them something to do. I hope you all enjoy the narrative aspect of this sculpt -- there's a lot going on!

Greetings from frigid Minnesota! It sucks to be trapped inside so much but you sure get a lot done. Thanks to that, this walking gunshow of a miniature is ahead of schedule so I thought I'd share a preview :)

More parts are under construction but I'll save that reveal for the release. He'll have alternate heads and also MORE GUNS -- clearly he needs more.

The full kit is complete! Between the Corrupted Void Commandos and Heavy Corrupted Void Commandos, tribers get this large new builder kit including:

6 heads

6 torsos

7 small arms (some with 2-handed options)

7 melee weapons

4 heavy weapons

3 special weapons (all with 2-handed options)

11 sets of legs in 2 styles each

5 arm options to cover almost any pose

and some extra bits!

In terms of value this is a particularly good month to be a triber! In addition to the void commandos, tribers can download the Anomaly Hunters and the Enigma Riders.

It was an absolute blast making these models and I hope you all enjoy them. If you're not on the Dorkfactory Discord server, make sure to check that out for some good printing and painting pictures from the community as well as a steady stream of work-in-progress images and animations from yours truly.

January is cram-packed with infantry and mounted models and it's going to get even crazier. This month's new sculpt is the Corrupted Void Commandos. The new kit has options to make a TON of different void commandos and more parts are on the way! Mid January the heavy weapon and special weapon bits will be released alongside more heads, legs and various decorative flourishes. This month in the Dorkfactory Vault we've got the Anomaly Hunters coming back for their last lap and the Enigma Riders making their vault debut.

It's been a joy making the new void commandos and I'm looking forward to finishing and releasing the full kit!
