ello everyone, I’m very happy to share the news that, even though I had a rough patch in mid-2024, the year ended on a high note. We’ve added more miniatures, improved quality, and have more hands helping me develop these projects… and so much more. As I mentioned, an update to the Welcome Box and the Loyalty Rewards is coming soon, but we’d also love to know what you’re expecting in the coming months. I’d also like to remind you that we’re working on the Mythology at War rulebook, which we’re very excited about, along with the development of the noble elves from the OldRealms world(Kickstarter). Our original plan was to finish the Goblins of the Cave and then start working on Elves of the eternal lady. But… your wishes are our commands. February - Goblins of the Cave 3. Last month (1 Kraken, 2 trolls, 2 wolf rider tamers, 10 goblins with spear and 4 goblins with axe) March - ? April - ? May - ? June - ? These 4 months are yours to decide. Hello everyone! We present the penultimate two miniatures to finish the month of December. It has been a very difficult month because of the difficulty and dynamism of all the miniatures. I think this is an army of Goblins that we have given a lot of love and care to make something special and unique. This is the Goblin King of the cave, both in 40mm base with throne, and in 25mm base with two small goblins accompanying him. Also, we are working on improving the welcome box for new and current users. Since at the same time we are going to introduce already existing miniatures. We will make unique ULTRA dynamic poses of heroes or beasts. We will also improve the loyalty gift. We will start with 3 months, adding eagles and possibly an elven chariot. And we will continue with the 6 and 12 months with more special stuff. Also, in 2025, we hope to launch the first kickstarter of elven nobles based on the world of OldRealms. And of course, a rulebook we are working on to be able to bring mythological miniatures to life. I look forward to your feedback and opinions for this 2025 Also, a quick reminder that you have until the end of next week to participate in the November Painting League. Hello everybody! I present to you Gruluk The Big: King of the Cave. This is a 40mm version that I personally love. Also, you will have a 25mm version for the purists. Romantic text: "I think this army is called to be one of the most beautiful armies davale has made so far. I really want to get my hands on making new retakes of old armies... but before that, we have to work a lot more... It fills me with pride to see whole armies painted by you, by your painters... It's a sign that somehow, what we do leaves a mark, however long we last, and however long it takes." January will be focused on finishing everything related to the cave, although it will probably take a variety month, or an extra month for them. What do you think about the following?

Hi guys! Here’s the final render of what was left to show in November. Sorry for the delay; those Pegasus feathers took some work! 🥵 What do you think? The six Huscarl foot soldiers with shields and swords are also ready. In this case, we just need to tweak a few details on the horns so they aren’t all broken in the same spot, and then they’ll be good to go. Hi everyone! The Gorgon's Brush 2024 - Painting League for Davale Games subscribers officially begins on October 3rd.

What is it about?

It’s a 9-month painting league (October 2024 - July 2025). You can participate once a month at most and for at least 1 of the 9 months. In other words, it’s not mandatory to enter every month, but the more months you participate, the better your chances of scoring points. Each month will have a specific theme, and you will decide the starting order through an upcoming poll. The miniatures you paint must be from Davale Games and currently available in the store—discontinued models cannot be used in the competition.

How will the painting be judged?

A qualified panel of three judges will evaluate the submissions:

• Maciej Wytrychowski (@ganjalfpaintingstudio): Technique and painting quality. Judged from 1 to 10 points (50% weight).
• Dan | Heresy Is My Therapy (@heresyismytherapy): War scene. Judged from 1 to 10 points (25% weight).
• James T. Wappel (@wappellious): Base and conversion. Judged from 1 to 10 points (25% weight). We’ll soon release the complete set of rules so you can fully understand the system. Our goal with this league is to have fun and reward not only quality but also effort and consistency.

And the prizes?

There will be 3 prize categories (Gold, Silver, Bronze). Each category will have two spots, meaning you’ll have 6 chances to win a prize. Some of the prizes include: airbrushes, a 3D printer, the Gorgon's Brush trophy, exclusive STL files, a painting set, and much more. We’ll share more information, rules, and the complete system soon. Originally, they were responsible for organizing the leidang (militia) and leading the command when needed. It was a hereditary rank. The hersir often wore a conical helmet and a kind of chainmail. We're really enjoying getting back into modeling these armies. Hi guys! Here’s the first WIP of Chiron, a mythological hero known for his behavior, wisdom, and intelligence. While most centaurs were described as wild and violent creatures, Chiron was wise, civilized, and kind-hearted. This mythological figure holds special significance due to his role as a teacher and mentor to some of the most prominent heroes in Greek mythology, such as Achilles, Jason, Asclepius, and Hercules. This is what I’ve tried to convey through the sculpting of this figure. What do you think?

Hello everyone! Here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming in September. The captain is one of our favorite miniatures this month, and we’re thrilled with how it turned out. Do you like it? It's 100% complete and ready for support. The North Human Spirits still need a few more details and some weathering on their armor and clothing. This is just one of the two poses that will be released. We’ve been considering creating other types of generic captains with fewer details so that they stand out more. We’ll also be working on revising the design of the king and his sorcerer. In the coming days, we’ll show you the completed cavalry and foot soldiers. By the way, we’ll be creating many variations of the foot soldiers. Another exciting update is that we’re working on a configurator that will allow you to create your own miniatures beyond the brand’s predefined designs.
